Qantas has invested $30 million into the upgrade of its heavy maintenance engineering facilities in Brisbane which secures 227 engineering jobs as Qantas consolidates its heavy maintenance into Brisbane.
BLH Safety Solutions Pty Ltd completed an installation of the BLH Stop Drop Barricading into the newly renovated Qantas Hanger No.2 at the Brisbane Airport in Australia. Qantas being a leader in the aviation industry pride themselves on the safety of all employees and their operations.
The newly renovated large mezzanine floor area provided the ideal installation site for the BLH Stop Drop Barricading System, providing dropped object protection for employees, visitors, plant and equipment.
With ground floor offices entering the hanger floor underneath the above mezzanine area, the installation of the BLH Stop Drop Barricading System will reduce the risk of dropped objects to all foot traffic.
